Minutes: Plans for next year: Invite Nicole Earnest to help differentiate lessons for AG students. Some suggestions for enrichment would include paideia seminars.

Quarter SMART Goal: Eighty percent of our CA students will pass 3 out of 4 of their core classes.

Minutes: The team updated information about high school transition meetings. We do have a representative from Millbrook coming on the 7th and 13th of May. Heritage rep will be available on May 9. Sanderson will not be able to send a representative. We have not heard from Knightdale or Wakefield High Schools.

We discussed a new font that helps kids with dyslexia.

Quarter SMART Goal: During the 2012-2013 school year Social Studies classrooms will demonstrate an effective learning environment through students working collaboratively 60-70% of the time

Minutes: We discussed student needs and planning for the 2013- 2014 school year. We talked about students who are not utilizing Curriculum Assistance to their advantage and the criteria to use to exit students for CA. We also talked about the grading systems that we use for the different CA classes.

Next weeks meeting will include reflecting on our SMART goal.
