Students are issued their usernames (student ID numbers) and passwords through their core teachers during the first few weeks of school. Parents can request their own accounts (with separate username and password) by completing one of the forms linked below.Option A is for parents who can visit the school with photo identification to submit their form, during school hours or on “Meet the Teacher Night”. Option B allows those who are unable to get to the school during these times to submit a request, which much be notarized.
- Option A: Must be submitted in person with photo ID
- Option B: Must be notarized, does not need to be submitted in person
Once students and parents have accounts, they can access SPAN by going to:http://span.wcpss.net. Keep in mind that accounts are disabled if they are not used for 60 days or if an incorrect password is submitted three times. Students should contact their homeroom teacher to reactivate their accounts. Parents may use the “Forgot your password?” link to have a reset code sent via email. Parents may request password resets for themselves or their children by emailing the Guidance Technician, Mr. Tillman (firstname.lastname@example.org).
