2012-2013 Newbery Book Club

The 2012-2013 Newbery Book Club is underway!  Why do we start before the next school year actually begins?  Well, the purpose of the Newbery Book Club is to read brand new, 2012 published books and determine which book should win the coveted John Newbery Medal.  The award is announced in January each year, so our club runs from April to January, with a hiatus during February and March (as we wait for new books to be published).

ALL DRMS students are invited to attend a club meeting between now and June.  Our next meeting is this Wednesday, April 18th.  Come find out about being in the club and see some of the brand-new books that are only available for club members to read.  See Ms. Ziller if you have any questions.
