Information & Technology Standards

The NC Information and Technology Standards were implemented during the 2011-2012 school year.  These general, 21st-century skills are taught by classroom teachers in collaboration with a library media coordinator.  These standards enhance and engage integrated student learning and prepare students for their future.  The four middle school standards fall into the following categories:

Technology as a Tool (TT)
Sources of Information (SI)
Safety and Ethical Practices (SE)
Research Process (RP)
