Our second quarter math benchmark is February 13. It will cover Units 6, 7, and 8 on expressions, equations, inequalities and ratios. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will post a study guide by the end of the week.

Yesterday, a benchmark data sheet came home with the student’s data on it.  Each quarter we take the county benchmark test which lets us know how the students are doing on the material learned so far. Once they take the test, we are given a percentage score and a projected EOG score. Both of these were written on the data sheets that went home as well as the average percentage score for all the 6th grade students at DRMS. This is strictly used as information for us and is NOT averaged in to the math grade in any way.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

A quarter 1 math study guide came home last week for students to be reviewing at home to help them be prepared for the Math benchmark tomorrow.

We did review questions they had from it in class yesterday and today, however, several students still had not even looked at it yet. Please make sure they go over it tonight to help prepare them for the test tomorrow!

Thank you in advance for the continued support!

In addition to interims going home, math test are going home today as well. Please sign and return them by tomorrow. Test Corrections are due Thursday, September 4.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
