Intramurals are not tryouts and are not required to try out for the DRMS team. However, they are a good way for players to work on basic skills and drills. Please complete and bring your insurance forms (pg. 3) to intramurals. Intramurals will begin at 3:30 and end at 5:30. Please come dressed-out and have rides here promptly. You do not have to sign up to participate in intramurals.
Intramurals will be held on February 11th and 12th.
Tryouts:
Please sign up ahead of time on the sign up sheet located inside of the cafeteria. The Required Paperwork is listed below.

All paperwork MUST be turned in before tryouts begin. If paperwork is not complete, then players will not be permitted to tryout. The track team competes in the same spring season as softball. If you try-out for softball and do not make the team, you will still be able to join the track team.
There will be several coaches assisting in picking players for the 2013 team. We are looking for players that are athletic, teachable, positive, team players, hard working, and complete an area of need. Previous experience, either with DRMS, camps, clubs, or intramurals, does not guarantee a spot on the roster.
Athletes are expected to attend practice and games when they are tracked out. Your reliability is very important to our success. If you cannot attend a practice or game, let the coach know in advance. Tracked-out athletes should call the school or e-mail mmauder@wcpss.net if they are unable to attend. Extended vacations should be brought to the coach’s attention prior to the beginning of practice. Generally, it is a good idea to call the school after 1:00 if you are tracked-out to be sure that there has been no change in the practice schedule (especially due to bad weather).
If you have questions, please contact Mr. Mauder (mmauder@wcpss.net)
