Five Days to Go...

As we wind down to Track-Out this week, we will prepare for and take the end-of-quarter Atmosphere & Weather Test on Tuesday. The Early Release Day on Wednesday includes one part of the 7th Grade Writing Test. We will use our class time on Thursday and Friday to complete the Weather Tic-Tac-Toe Project that students started last Friday.

Friday will be Test Review day as we prepare for the GINORMOUS Test on Tuesday, September 1. That's also when the long-awaited Voicethread assignment will be due.

This week we begin our Atmosphere & Weather Unit with some fun activities that explore the gases that make up our air and the layers that cover our heads like an "ocean of air". Don't forget that First Quarter Interim Reports go home on Friday (Thursday, if attending Student-Led Conferences), and we have a BIG Notebook Check on Friday.
