Student Council will be holding its Winter Dance on Friday, December 4. 6th grade: 3:00-5:00 and 7th/8th: 6:00-8:30. All proceeds will benefit the Raleigh Jaycee’s Goodfellows Program (click here). DJ Smoke from K97.5 will be playing the tunes!

The next meeting will be held Monday, November 9, 2:45-4:00.

The Food Drive will be held November 16-20. Bring in your canned or boxed good items.

Student Council is an organization that assists DRMS in many ways! As a governing body, we will present new ideas to the administration and brainstorm ways that we can improve our school. We will also participate in activities where student leaders are needed, such as helping with 6th grade orientation, decorating for the 8th grade celebration, and helping whenever the administration asks. Finally, we will plan and participate in several community service events, such as: the JDRF walk, food drive, winter dance, and fundraising.
