A Message from Principal Solomon
February 08, 2010

It is a privilege and honor to continue serving Durant Road Middle School as your new principal. Since my arrival in 2008, I continue to be impressed with the care, concern, and dedication that the faculty bestows upon our students daily. I am also impressed with the level of parental support and involvement that is given in support of each individual who attends Durant Road Middle School. It is these essential elements that contribute to the success of our students and make Durant Road Middle “School As It Should Be.”
As principal, I will continue to build upon the foundation of leadership and excellence that has been established, as well as seeking opportunities to expand the limits of potential and success for everyone with a vested interest in our school. Through collaboration, dedication, and an expectation that we give our best efforts daily, I am confident that our students will continue to thrive.
I want to thank the faculty, parents, and students, for your support and encouragement. I look forward to serving all of the various stakeholders of our family in a selfless, dedicated manner. Your continued support and positive energy will be important as we begin the next chapter in the Durant Road Middle School story. Again, thank you and I look forward to working with each of you in the years to come.
Respectfully,
Ian Solomon
Principal
